The UJ Water, Energy, and Environment Centre plays a crucial role in advancing environmental sustainability research, training, and education. Located in the Central Jordan Valley (Deir Alla) โ approximately 370 m below sea level โ the Department of Agricultural Research is the operational and production arm of the School of Agriculture. Established in 2019, it addresses challenges facing Jordan's agricultural sector while generating investment income for the university, and serves as the primary field for practical training, hands-on lessons, and agricultural production.

The Marine Science Station (MSS), located on the Gulf of Aqaba, is Jordan's premier marine research facility. Operated by the University of Jordan, it provides specialised research infrastructure for marine biology, coastal ecology, aquatic environmental science, and fisheries management. The station collaborates directly with WEEC and the Agricultural Stations to achieve integrated environmental sustainability across land and sea.
